Why is it that almost every video chat/web cam site is set up exactly the same?

The home page presents you with small photos of the chat hosts who are online and available to chat with you, usually with links to a bio page for more details about the person. You can head into chat right there, or follow a series of other links- typically located along the left hand side of the screen- and end up in the same spot.

The categories of video chat sites are all about the same regardless of which web cam site you visit. Lesbians, Fetishes, Groups, Gays, etc.

Is there no room for creativity with web cam sites? In most businesses, it’s bad not to have a “brand” or a specific “image” that your customers remember you by. But with web cam/chat sites, it appears that the same template is used to make all the web sites- and the only thing that changes is the background color, site address, and chat hosts. And I swear I’ve seen some of the same chat hosts on more than one site also- but they go by different names so I can’t be sure of that.
