We all want to make new friends, especially with hot girls. On SecretFriends, you can do just that. When I first heard about the site, I was intrigued. Calling it Secret Friends made it sound like something naughty, something full of girls who you would never want to introduce to anyone. Sadly, the reality of Secret Friends is a let down. While the site does have some hot girls, there just aren’t enough of them to truly make it great.

I count twenty six girls online on Secret Friends when I visited, which doesn’t seem like very many. It’s a Saturday night, which is a busy time for web cam girls. Why aren’t there more online on the site? I don’t know, but I do know that the girls who are here are hot, which is good.

You can find the bios and photos of the offline models by clicking on “Girls” button on the main page, but it can get frustrating if, like me, you missed the tiny little button. Instead, I ended up finally stumbling onto the offline ladies by clicking on “bios” on the chat page. There are 36 pages of girls, so they do have a nice selection. You can also see what time each girl will be online, so you can plan your visits accordingly.

The site itself isn’t so hot looking: I don’t like the color scheme or the graphics. While I know the main focus is on the girls and their cams, it still annoys me when I have to deal with a site that I find ugly or hard to read.

You’ve got three different choices when you arrive at Secret Friends. You can enter a room, read a girl’s bio, or see more pictures of the girls. The pictures really aren’t that interesting. They’re all screen captures from chats the girls have previously done, and none of them include any nudity or even that much teasing. The quality also isn’t that great (of course, neither is the cam quality, but more on that in a bit).

The bios are a bit better and include fun things like asking the girls about the oddest place they’ve had sex and about their fantasies. That’s fun.

OK, so let’s get to the cams! Here’s the thing about Secret Friends: you don’t have to create a user name or do anything to see the girls in their free cam show. While that’s great, it also means you can’t chat with them at all. Nope, no chat, not even a chat window where you can see members and the girl talking! What a bummer, since most sites like Flirt4free or ClubXlive feature free chats with the girls.

Oh well…at least I can watch her brush her hair or whatever it is she does in the free chat. No, wait, I can’t since the cam quality is so bad! The cams are really jerky at Secret Friends. This is not the smooth interaction with a girl like you’ll find on sites like IFriends. Instead, you’ll see the girl move about once every second or so. Some of the girls made me wonder if they were even online of if they just put up a picture of themselves and left the cam! I swear one girl was watching TV or something. She was just sitting there staring off into space.

Here’s another thing that annoys me: if you stay in a free chat for a few minutes, you get bumped out and sent to the sign up screen to buy credits! Grrr! The bottom of the screen already has a place for you to purchase credits, and it’s not like the free cam is that exciting, anyway. You can’t even talk to the girl.

It looks like Secret Friends is running a special at the moment, or maybe they always give away 200 credits for free to get you hooked. Anyway, the site promises 200 free credits, although they’ll still take your credit card. Once you use those up, there are four different credit packages: 130 for $19.95, 230 for $29.95, 600 for $64.95, or 1020 for $99.95.

Overall, I wasn’t that impressed by Secret Friends. Their free chat is more or less worthless since the quality is so bad and you can’t talk to the girls. I’d hate to even contemplate paying for Secret Friends if that’s the quality of their feeds. The girls are certainly attractive enough, don’t get me wrong, but since the video feed looks like still images half the time, what’s the point? Sorry, Secret Friends, but I think I’ll pass. Hit up iFriends, CumTV or camcontacts for much better cam action.
